This applique pattern may be sewn using the traditional turned needle method or with fusible applique. I recommend that you use an Applique Pressing Sheet with fusible applique.

From cream background cut:

one 6 1/2" x 11 1/2" rectangle

two 2 1/2" x 12 1/2"
two 2 1/2" x 21 1/2" (change to 2 1/2" x 11 1/2")

The rest of the block directions is fine.

Page 7, 4th paragraph:
"If size is slightly larger, unit should be trimmed to square up to 9" - should be 5 1/2"
