Deep China Blue Bead Soup Starter by Hofmann Originals is a great package for embellishing Quilts, or rounding out your Bead Project. I keep a variety of these packages on hand for embellishing Art Quilts. It's nice to have a selection of quality glass beads without having to buy a lot of one size or color in bulk.

All glass bead mixes for strung jewelry or embellishment in needlework and quilting. Stitch into fiber, string into jewelry, scissor pouches, fringe 'n dangles for ornaments.

Colors = small beads of light frosty blue, deep clear cobalt, and the complement Dark Blueberry Bead Gravy. There are few blue foods, but traditional Blue Willow china was the inspiration from our early years of sitting at the kitchen table.

Each packaged Bead Soup Starter is an even measure of a Bead Gravy and mix of small pressed beads and a sprinkle of Miyuki triangles that will add to your embellishment pleasure in bead embroidery (think crazy quilting!), jewelry stringing, scrapbooking and more.

The starter mix contains approx. 1 Tablespoon of chubby rounds, flattened lentils (discs), embossed leafy ovals, and glass rings a.k.a. "Cherrios".

Packaged in a clear plastic clamshell that allows storage as well as stringing straight from the package, you may string up to 24 inches.
